Funding for this big idea will support the needed design, engineering and right of way acquisition costs required to plan and prepare for trail construction.
The ultimate vision is a trail in northcentral Allen county that will connect the existing trail network to the southern entrance of Metea County Park. Located near Leo-Cedarville, Metea Park is a 250 acre park that is home to the 120 acre Meno-aki State Nature Preserve. This park is one of the largest and most tranquil in our area! It features over 5 miles of hiking trails, woodlands, wetlands, picnic shelters, and a 1.5 acre lake with a swimming beach!
